In November 2025, EDICa joined the Being Human Festival to hold two workshops in the Wester Hailes community of Edinburgh, just a couple miles from EDICa’s host Heriot-Watt University.
EDICa teamed up with the Community Wellbeing Collective who provided the venue and promoted the activity into the community alongside its usual programme of events, and with Coin Operated Press, an experienced zine-making workshop creator.
EDICa shared its research with workshop participants, followed by a fun hour of searching through magazines and crafts, cutting, gluing, and chatting about menstrual health and the workplace.
The Zine – a small-circulation, self-published booklet
The zine touches on EDICa’s research, shares three real stories from the interviews we conducted in 2023-2024, and features the collages created in the two workshops.
Other resources
EDICa hosts a regular blog and seminars, as well as collecting a library of resources of equality, diversity & inclusion practices in research & innovation.
